Pages Tree

The hierarchical tree view of all pages and groups in a Pages collection, with drag & drop and a context menu.

The Pages Tree is the left navigation column of Pages and shows all pages and groups of the currently selected Kollektion (Collection) as a hierarchical tree. Clicking an entry opens it in the editor. Drag & drop (handle Ziehen zum Verschieben, Drag to move) reorders entries or moves one into another group; a confirmation reads "Moved into group" or "Moved to the top". Each entry's ⋯ menu offers:

  • Seite hinzufügen / Gruppe hinzufügen (Add Page / Add Group) — opens the Seite anlegen (Create Page) dialog for a new sub-page or sub-group
  • Nach oben / Nach unten (Move Up / Move Down) — swaps with the previous or next sibling entry
  • Löschen (Delete) — asks for confirmation first

Above the tree, a dropdown selects the active collection; from there you also reach Neue Kollektion erstellen (Create New Collection) and the Kollektion verwalten (Manage Collection) menu.

A group that still contains entries can't be deleted — remove all its sub-pages first.

Without any pages created yet, the tree shows "No pages yet." with Erste Seite anlegen (Create First Page) and Gruppe anlegen (Add Group) buttons.

The control for setting what folders and files are sorted by, and in which order.
