Download UXP Installer
To install the VAULO UXP plugin for Adobe InDesign 2025, you need the UXP installer. Please download and install the application.
Open the extension
After completing the installation, download the VAULO extension above. Open the downloaded file com.vaulo.uxp.id_ID.ccx directly.
Install the plugin
When you double-click the plugin, the Adobe CC Plugin Manager will open. Follow the installation instructions provided there.
Verify the plugin
After installing the plugin in the Adobe CC Plugin Manager, the newly added plugin will be displayed there immediately.
Open InDesign
Open Adobe InDesign 2025. If InDesign is already running, close it and reopen it.
Open a project
Now open your desired project or create a new file.
Find the plugin menu
After opening Adobe InDesign 2025, look at the menu bar at the top of the screen. There you will find the Plug-ins tab.
Find VAULO in the menu
After clicking on Plug-ins, a context menu appears. In this menu, you should see an entry labeled VAULO. When you hover over it, another submenu opens.
Launch the plugin
This menu displays the VAULO plugin. Please click on it.
Sign in
Congratulations! If a window now appears prompting you to sign in to your VAULO account, you have successfully installed the plugin and are just one step away from the full VAULO InDesign Plugin experience.
Please enter your credentials and sign in. If you have enabled multi-factor authentication, complete it as usual.
Import in Adobe InDesign 2025
Select a Space from which you want to import media.
Then select a folder from which you want to import media.
Navigate to the desired folder and click on the image you want to import.
Now click on Select file (at the bottom of the plugin).
The photo will now be imported.
Click the "X" in the upper right corner of the plugin to return to the folder view.
Export from Adobe InDesign 2025
To export your current file, open the desired Space and the corresponding folder in the plugin.
Once you have opened the desired folder, you will see a round "+" button in the lower right corner. Click on it.
Here you now have the option to create a new subfolder or upload the current file to the selected folder.
Now click on "Upload current file".
A window opens in which you can choose between three common formats.
Select your desired format and then click "Upload file".
Please click the upload button only once. The upload starts and a few seconds later your image appears in the selected folder.
