Install and use the VAULO TYPO3 Extension to access your media directly from the TYPO3 backend.
TYPO3 Extension is a paid add-on. Already included in the Platinum Freelancer plan. Available as an option for all Business plans.

Installation
Log in to your TYPO3 backend.
Open the extension manager:
In the left sidebar, scroll down to System and click Extensions.
In the left sidebar, scroll down to Admin Tools and click Extensions.
At the top of the page, click Upload Extension.
Click Choose File and select the downloaded ZIP file (vaulo_typo3.zip).
Click Upload! — TYPO3 will upload and install the extension.
After the upload, the extension appears in the list. If it is not activated automatically, click the activation icon next to the VAULO entry.
Adding Content
Select the page where you want to add content:
In the left sidebar, go to Content → Layout and select the page.
In the left sidebar, go to Web → Page and select the page.
Click Create new content, then select Typical page content → Images Only.
In the content element editor, switch to the Images tab.
Click Select from VAULO — the VAULO media selection dialog will open.
Log in with your VAULO account. Once logged in, you will see the spaces that belong to your organization.
You can now browse your VAULO content and insert media directly into TYPO3.
Inserting Images
Single Image
Open the desired space or folder and click on the image you want to insert.
A preview opens. If needed, crop the image before inserting it.
Confirm your selection — the image will be added to the TYPO3 content element.
Multiple Images
Open the folder that contains the images you want to use.
Enable selection mode and select all images you want to insert.
Confirm your selection — the selected images will be added to the TYPO3 content element.
Folders
Navigate to the folder overview and select the folders you want to insert.
Confirm your selection — the folder contents will be imported and made available in TYPO3.
After inserting your media, save the content element. The images are now available on the page and displayed in the frontend according to your TYPO3 configuration.
