File Keywords

The input field for assigning keywords to a file, including popover suggestions from the organization's keyword catalogs.

File Keywords is the input field used to apply keywords to a file: free-text keywords can be typed directly, or picked from a popover showing the Keyword Tree of all catalogs in the organization — individual keywords or entire groups at once. Already-assigned keywords appear as chips with a remove option.

This field appears in three places:

  • the Keywords tab of the File Detail View
  • as the value of the IPTC field Keywords
  • in the Set Metadata action during batch processing of multiple files

If no keyword catalog exists, free-text entry still works — only the popover suggestions from catalogs are unavailable.
