Media & Files Block
The content block that displays a share's files in the presentation editor as a grid, list, or table, with filters and pagination.
The Media & Files block is one of the content blocks in the Baustein-Palette (category Medien, media) and shows a share's files in one of three views:
Raster(grid) – tiles with an adjustable column count (2–6) and spacingListe(list) – rows with optional metadata such as headline, description, creator, copyright, usage terms, city, sublocation, or countryTabelle(table) – columns for rating, label, comments, versions, copyright, format, size, updated date, and author, each individually shown or hidden
The block menu additionally lets you configure folder, label, and file-type filters; sorting (by name, upload date, capture date, or rating; ascending or descending) along with the visibility and alignment of the sort dropdown; a per-row download button (list view only); a block-wide Herunterladen (download) button in the top-right corner; Mehrfachauswahl (multi-select) for bulk file download; and the navigation at the end of the list: Pagination, Weitere laden (load more), or Automatisch nachladen (infinite scroll), each with a configurable number of items per page.
Depending on the active view, each file is rendered by its own preview element (tile, row, or table row). Clicking a file normally opens the lightbox preview; if the share's discussion mode is enabled, Dateidetails & Kommentare (file details & comments) opens instead.
When the result list is empty, the editor shows Keine Elemente vorhanden (no items) — Keine Einträge vorhanden (no entries) in table view — while the published presentation hides the block entirely instead. The search and filter logic itself usually comes from a separate Suchleiste (search bar) block on the same page; Medien & Dateien only consumes its input. Folders are no longer shown by this block but by the dedicated Ordneransicht (folder view) block.
