Uploading Files: via Drag & Drop or File Selection
Learn how to upload files and entire folder structures in VAULO - either conveniently via drag & drop from Finder (Mac) or Explorer (Windows) or through direct file selection in the main window. Basic knowledge of navigating the VAULO Digital Asset Management System is required.
There are two ways to upload files in VAULO:
Find your file in Finder (Mac) or Explorer (Windows) and drag it via drag & drop into the desired folder. As soon as you release the selected file over the desired target folder, the upload begins.
Of course, you can also upload entire folder structures via drag & drop into your VAULO account.
Make sure to load folder structures into a previously created parent folder and not simply into the folder tree.
In the main window of your folder, you will find - if no files are present in the selected folder yet - a button labeled Select your files. By clicking this button, your Finder (Mac) or Explorer (Windows) opens. You can now select the desired files to start the upload.
