Your personal settings in VAULO give you the ability to customize your user experience. In this article, we show you how to configure your account settings according to your needs - from newsletter subscriptions to customizing the detail view.
Accessing Your Settings
Click on your initials or profile picture in the upper right corner (depending on your settings).
Click on your name to open your personal settings.
Click on the Settings menu item (gear icon) on the left.
Account Settings: Newsletter Settings
Here you can decide whether you want to receive a newsletter from VAULO. The following options are available:
- Yes, I want to receive information about system-relevant changes and enhancements.
- Yes, I want to be informed about offers related to VAULO.
You can activate the respective options by checking the box. Both can be selected or deselected simultaneously. Simply click Save to save your settings.
We recommend subscribing to the newsletter about system-relevant changes and enhancements so that you stay informed about new updates.
Account Settings: Default Download Settings
Use this feature to save time and effort when downloading files.
By checking the box, you activate the default download option. This means you will not be asked for the desired image format and resolution with every download.
This setting applies only to you personally and does not affect downloads by colleagues.
Account Settings: Individual Customization of the Detail View
Customize the display of the file detail view according to your individual needs:
- You can rearrange the individual menu items via drag & drop to set your preferred order.
- If a menu item should be expanded by default, simply check the box next to the corresponding item.
The following menu items are available:
- General
- Comments
- Usage notes
- Keywords
- IPTC data
- EXIF
- Thumbnail
- Attachments
- People
After making your adjustments, click Save to save your settings.
These settings apply only to your personal account and do not affect your colleagues.
