Configuring quick actions
Set up quick actions in your organization settings so members can set a rating or a label on a file with a single tap in the mobile VAULO app.
A quick action defines a preset rating or a preset label that can then be applied to a file with a single tap in the mobile VAULO app and in the mobile discussion mode.
Quick actions are only available in the mobile view. They don't appear in the desktop file detail view.
Creating a quick action
Go to your organization's settings and open the "Quick actions" tab.
Click one of the empty tiles – you can have up to four quick actions at the same time.
Give the quick action a name.
In the "Action" field, choose between "Set rating" and "Set label".
Depending on the chosen action, set the desired rating or label.
Click "Create".
Editing or deleting a quick action
Click an existing quick action to edit it in the same form and apply changes with "Save". Use the "Delete" button in the form to remove a quick action – after a confirmation prompt, it's permanently deleted.
Using quick actions
In the mobile file detail view, your quick actions appear as tiles in the footer bar. Tapping a tile applies the associated rating or label to the currently viewed file version – tapping it again removes it. A brief "Saved" confirmation shows that the action ran successfully.
To execute a quick action, the person using it still needs the matching permission to rate or label the file.
Managing shared links organization-wide
Use the SharedLinks overview in your organization settings to keep track of every shared link across your entire organization – no matter which folder it was created in.
Extra options for multi-select
Add extra buttons for multi-select that write a fixed field onto every selected file — for example setting “Released” to Yes.
