Data Studio
The add-on for centrally configuring all of an organization's metadata topics: custom fields, groups, required fields, import formats, and more.
The Data Studio add-on is active by default and is the central place where you configure all of your organization's metadata topics — from custom fields and groups to the sections of the Datei-Detailansicht (File Detail View). It is organized into five tabs:
- Benutzerdefinierte Metadaten ("Custom Metadata") – manages all of the organization's metadata fields; this is where the
Metadatenfeld hinzufügen("Add Metadata Field") dialog opens via theFeld hinzufügen("Add field") button - Metadaten-Gruppen ("Metadata Groups") – combines metadata fields into blocks displayed together; this is where the
Metadatengruppe erstellen("Create Metadata Group") dialog opens - Pflichtfelder ("Required Fields") – two sections: "Pflichtfelder festlegen" ("Set required fields"), where you use a searchable field picker to choose which metadata fields must be filled in at upload time, and "Pflichtfeld AI-Assistent" ("Required field AI assistant"), which uses
VisionAIto suggest values for missing required fields — without an activeVisionAIsubscription this section instead shows an upsell prompt withVisionAI freischalten("Unlock VisionAI") /VisionAI erwerben("Purchase VisionAI") buttons. At upload time itself, missing required fields are filled in via thePflichtfelder ausfüllen("Fill in required fields") dialog - Import-Bundles ("Import Bundles") – configures ZIP+XML sidecar import formats: a format defines which XML file inside the ZIP holds the metadata and how its fields map to VAULO fields. A sample-ZIP drop area ("Beispiel-ZIP ablegen (nur Vorschläge)" / "Drop sample ZIP (suggestions only)") suggests matching field mappings without actually uploading the file
- Verstöße ("Violations") – currently just a placeholder with a "Demnächst verfügbar" ("Coming soon") badge: in the future, a report of files missing required metadata will appear here
Delete actions for import formats and individual field mappings in the Import-Bundles tab use the generic confirmation dialog, not a dedicated one.
The Verstöße tab is not yet a working feature — it currently only shows an announcement of the upcoming report.
