DuplicateFinder
The add-on page that lists similar and duplicate images across the whole organization as comparison pairs, letting you delete redundant copies right from the comparison.
The DuplicateFinder page is the main view of the add-on of the same name, reachable via the waffle/add-on menu. It scans the organization's entire media library for visually similar or duplicate images and shows every match found as a Duplikat-Vergleichskarte (Duplicate Comparison Card).
- Two buttons in the top right switch the display mode for all cards at once:
Geteilt(Split) – both files side by sideVergleich(Compare) – a slider comparison of the two files
- Below that follows the list of
Duplikat-Vergleichskartes, sorted by similarity descending - If there is more than one page, pagination appears at the end of the list (10 pairs per page)
If the organization has no similar or duplicate files, the page instead shows an empty state with the heading Keine Duplikate gefunden (No duplicates found) and the message Ihre Mediathek enthält keine ähnlichen oder doppelten Dateien. (Your media library contains no similar or duplicate files.)
Only file pairs above a minimum similarity are shown. The exact threshold is configured internally and is not adjustable in the UI.
Don't confuse DuplicateFinder with Datei-Ähnliche-Bilder (File Similar Images): DuplicateFinder shows all duplicate pairs across the entire organization, while Datei-Ähnliche-Bilder, a section of the Datei-Detailansicht (File Detail View), only lists images similar to the single file currently open.
