Custom Property
The dialog for creating or editing a custom property for staff or sessions of an event.
A custom property ("Eigenschaft") is a user-defined extra field configured for staff or sessions of an event (e.g. a select list "T-Shirt size" for staff, or a yes/no field "Backstage access" for sessions). The Custom Property dialog (title: Mitarbeiter-Eigenschaft or Session-Eigenschaft, depending on whether you're creating it under staff properties or session properties) opens via the Eigenschaft hinzufügen (add property) button, or by clicking an existing property, in the Settings tab of the Event-Detailansicht. It contains:
- The
NameandBeschreibung(description) text fields - A type selector:
Text,Zahl(number),Ja/Nein(yes/no),Datum(date),Einfachauswahl(single select),Mehrfachauswahl(multi select) - The
Pflichtfeld(required) checkbox - For the single- and multi-select types: an
Auswahloptionen(options) section with anOptionbutton to add more options — if no option exists yet, the dialog shows "Mindestens eine Option hinzufügen" (add at least one option) - The
Abbrechen(cancel) andHinzufügen/Speichern(add/save) buttons, plusLöschen(delete) when editing
If you mark a newly created property as required, VAULO automatically opens a follow-up dialog (Eigenschaft für bestehende Sessions setzen or Eigenschaft für bestehende Mitarbeiter setzen) letting you backfill a value for every existing session or staff member at once — a required field can't be left empty on existing records.
