Create Search Mask

The dialog for creating your own saved filter view (search mask) with a fixed set of filters for search.

A search mask (Suchmaske) is a saved combination of filters for file search that shows up as your own quick-access shortcut next to the standard file-type filters. The Create Search Mask dialog opens via the Neue Suchmaske erstellen ("Create new search mask") button in the Suchmasken verwalten ("Manage search masks") dialog. It contains:

  • An icon picker and a Name text field
  • A Mit Organisation teilen ("Share with organization") switch that also shows the search mask to other members of your organization
  • A filter picker where you choose which filters this search mask should include (including optional default values per filter)
  • A Weitere erstellen ("Create another") switch that keeps the dialog open after creation
  • The Abbrechen (Cancel) and Erstellen (Create) buttons

To edit or delete a search mask you already created, use the separate Suchmaske bearbeiten ("Edit search mask") dialog.
