Create/Edit Contact

The VAULO Contacts add-on dialog for creating, editing, and deleting a contact.

The Create/Edit Contact dialog (titled Neuen Kontakt erstellen / "Create New Contact" or Kontakt bearbeiten / "Edit Contact") opens via Kontakt hinzufügen ("Add Contact") or the pencil icon in the Contact Table. It's split into tabs:

  • Kontaktdaten ausfüllen/bearbeiten ("Fill in/Edit Contact Data") – the previously defined custom contact fields
  • Gruppen auswählen/verwalten ("Select/Manage Groups") – assigning the contact to one or more Contact Group Table entries
  • FTPpush-Zugangsdaten hinzufügen/bearbeiten ("Add/Edit FTPpush Credentials") – only visible if the FTPpush add-on is active, via the FTPpush-Zugangsdaten aktivieren ("Enable FTPpush Credentials") switch
  • A tab with a trash icon (edit mode only) for deleting the contact

When creating a new contact, the Erstellen & Neu ("Create & New") button — instead of Kontakt erstellen (Create Contact) — lets you create another contact right away without closing the dialog.
