Batch Processing
The dialog for applying an action to several selected files at once.
You open the Batch Processing dialog via Open Batch Processing in the Selection Bar. First, choose one of the available actions from the Select an action: dropdown:
Set metadata– sets IPTC/metadata fields and the organization's custom fields for all selected files at once (field list is searchable and grouped)Set filename from property– renames all selected files after a metadata field (e.g. the IPTC headline), with the optionsSimplify names,Number consecutively(optional leading zeros), andMaximum length; if a name is already taken in the folder, a sequence number is appendedPlan workflow– starts a workflow for all selected filesAdd attachments– uploads a file as an attachment to every selected file, or links one existing VAULO file to all of themPublish to AssetFeed– only with the AssetFeed add-on and at least one feed set up
Only files you have the required permission for are carried over into the batch processing.
