Create Share

The central dialog for creating a new shared link for a folder or selected files — as a presentation, direct download, external upload, or embed.

The Create Share dialog (titled with the folder's name when sharing a folder) opens via the Share icon button in the folder toolbar, the Share or External Upload entry in the Ordner-Kontextmenü/Datei-Kontextmenü (folder/file context menu), or the corresponding action in the Selection Bar. Depending on context, up to four tabs are available:

Presentation – opens an editor for building a custom gallery page; after creation you're taken directly to the new presentation
Direct Download – contains Your Message, a password field Password, a Link field for choosing the domain/path, a Limit sharing duration switch (with a calendar picker), a Recipient's email address field, and a Send a copy to me switch; the Copy Link and Send Link buttons complete the process
External Upload – like Direct Download, plus switches for Add briefing (free text for suppliers), Add contact information (company, contact person, email, phone, mobile), and Automatically create a subfolder per upload (with the sub-option Uploader must enter a name to start upload)
Embed – only available for single files; the Create Embed Link or Generate Embed Source Code Now button creates an embed link and then opens the Eingebettete Freigabe (Embedded Share) dialog

When sharing a folder, the dialog also shows a link at the bottom to manage all shares of that folder. Which tabs are available depends on context: External Upload only appears for folder shares, Embed only for single files.
