Starting an FTPpush
How to start an FTPpush transfer directly from a shared link.
FTPpush is started directly from a shared link.
Select the files or folder you want to transfer and open the share dialog via the -button or by right-clicking → Share.
Switch to the FTPpush tab in the dialog.
Select one or more recipients – you have three options:
Distribute to specific contacts Search for contacts that already have FTP credentials stored. Select one or more contacts from the list.
Distribute to all contacts in a group Select a contact group. VAULO transfers the files to all group members with stored FTP credentials.
Enter FTP credentials manually Enter the credentials directly. Use the + button to add additional recipients.

Under Advanced Settings, additional options are available:

| Allow insecure connection | Disables SSL/TLS encryption – only use if the server does not support FTPS |
| Flatten directories | All files are transferred directly into the target directory without subdirectories |
| Default base directory | Absolute path on the FTP server where files are stored by default |
Optionally open Advanced Options to override settings for all selected recipients:
- Target directory: Appended to each recipient's base directory.
- Always flatten directories: Overrides the setting at the recipient level.
Click Start FTPpush. VAULO transfers the files in the background – you can track progress in the FTPpush overview.
