Legal Hub: Manage Legal Content Centrally
Maintain, publish, and set a primary version for imprint, privacy policy, terms of use, and your own legal texts in one place.
With Legal Hub, you manage imprint, privacy policy, terms of use, and other legal content centrally for your entire organization. Open it via the waffle menu → Legal Hub.
Kinds of legal texts
Legal content is grouped into kinds. Three kinds are fixed and can't be renamed or deleted (shown with a lock icon):
- Imprint
- Privacy policy
- Terms of use
You can additionally create any number of custom kinds, e.g. "License notice" or "Model release". This happens in the Legal Hub add-on settings under Kinds of legal texts: enter a name and add it with +. Custom kinds can also be renamed or deleted there – deletion fails while the kind is still in use.
Creating and publishing content
Within each kind, you can create multiple variants, e.g. one per language or per contractual document.
In Legal Hub, click New content (or Add directly on a kind).
Choose the kind, give it a name, and select the language of the content variant. Legal Hub supports over 20 languages, including regional variants like German (Austria/Switzerland) or English (US).
Enter the text in the editor. For the same name, you can add further language versions of the same content via the language selector.
Turn on Published so the content becomes visible in shares and public pages. Leave the switch off to keep the content saved as a draft, invisible everywhere.
The kind of an existing content item can't be changed afterwards. Create a new content item in the correct kind if needed.
Setting a primary variant
For the three system kinds (imprint, privacy policy, terms of use), use the ⋮ menu on a variant to select Set as primary. The primary variant carries a "Primary" badge and serves as the organization-wide default – e.g. as the default imprint in shares.
Custom kinds have no "primary" concept: there, you pick the specific variant directly from the list whenever you use it (e.g. as an additional text in a share).
Default language
In the add-on settings, under Default language, you set which language is preselected when creating new legal texts.
