How shares are displayed

  • Grid alignment (grid view only): Sets whether a last row that isn't completely filled sits on the left, in the center, or on the right.
  • Share preview → Thumbnail: "Fill" fills the card completely with the cover image (edges may be cropped). "Show fully" shows the entire cover image.
  • Blur (only with "Show fully"): Fills the free space around the cover image with a blurred version of the image.
  • Page navigation: Splits long lists into pages, in both the grid and the list view. With Entries per page (1–50, default 10) you set how many shares a page shows.

Newly inserted blocks fill the cards with the cover image. Existing blocks keep showing the entire cover image with a blurred background, as before, until you change the setting.

Prerequisite: The block only lists what the signed-in viewer may see. Viewers who are not signed in see a note asking them to sign in – but they can only do so through the login action of the navigation bar or a login block. On a share with Offer login, always add one of the two. Signed-in viewers also reach their shares via My shares in the navigation bar's account menu or a My shares menu item in the bar – in its Shared with me list, which shows the same content as this block.

If the viewer has no shares, the block disappears. To keep it visible with a note instead, switch on Show even without shares in the block menu.

Viewers who are not signed in see the block with its heading and the note asking them to sign in. To hide it from them entirely, switch off Show to visitors who are not signed in in the block menu (the option is on by default). The block then disappears completely for viewers who are not signed in, without leaving an empty space. Signed-in viewers see their shares as before. In the editor the block stays visible and shows the note "Visitors who are not signed in don't see this block."
